BabyFlow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the BabyFlow mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

• Baby Profiles: Name, date of birth, and optional profile photo for each baby you track.
• Activity Logs: Feeding records (type, duration, side), diaper change logs (type), sleep records (start/end times, type), and growth measurements (weight, height, head circumference).
• Account Information: If you choose to create an account for cloud sync, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Notes: Any optional notes you add to activity logs.

1.2 Automatically Collected Data

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns to help us improve the App.
• Advertising Data: Ad interaction data collected by Google AdMob (see Section 4).

2. How We Store Your Data

2.1 Local Storage

All baby tracking data is primarily stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted unless you enable cloud sync.

2.2 Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you create an account and enable cloud sync, your data is stored in Google Firebase/Firestore. This allows you to:

• Access your data across multiple devices
• Back up your data to the cloud
• Share data with family members

Cloud sync is entirely optional. The App functions fully without an account.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide baby tracking and logging functionality
• To display charts, statistics, and insights about your baby's routines
• To send local notifications and reminders (with your permission)
• To sync data across devices (if you opt in)
• To improve the App's features and user experience
• To display relevant advertisements

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We request non-personalized ads by default. You can remove all ads by purchasing BabyFlow Premium.

4.2 Google Firebase

If you use cloud sync, your data is stored using Google Firebase/Firestore. Firebase is governed by Firebase's Privacy Policy.

4.3 Apple App Store / Google Play

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store payment information. All transactions are handled by the respective platform.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With third-party services described above (AdMob, Firebase) as necessary for App functionality
• If required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights, safety, or property

6. Children's Privacy

BabyFlow is designed to help parents and caregivers track infant care. The App is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The baby profile data entered is provided by the parent or caregiver.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• Local data is stored securely on your device
• Cloud data is protected by Firebase's security infrastructure
• Authentication uses industry-standard encryption

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data stored in the App
• Export: Export your data from the App
• Delete: Delete individual entries or all data from the App
• Opt Out: Disable cloud sync at any time
• Remove Ads: Purchase Premium to remove all advertising

9. Data Retention

Local data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Cloud-synced data is retained in Firebase until you delete your account or request data deletion. Deleted entries are soft-deleted and permanently removed after 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications.
