2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous data about how you use the app (features used, session duration)
• Crash Reports: Technical information to help us fix bugs and improve stability

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact support)
• Your location or GPS data
• Your contacts or photos (except images you choose to add to routines)
• Any health data beyond what you enter in the app

3. How Your Data is Stored

3.1 Local Storage

All your fasting data, routines, weight entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it.

3.2 Apple Health Integration (iOS)

If you enable Apple Health integration:

• Your fasting sessions may be written to Apple Health
• Weight data may be read from or written to Apple Health
• This integration is entirely optional and requires your explicit permission
• We cannot access your Health data without your consent

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• Calculate your fasting statistics and streaks
• Send you notifications about your fasting progress (if enabled)
• Improve the App based on anonymous usage patterns
• Fix bugs and technical issues
• Respond to your support requests

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog for anonymous analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. PostHog collects:

• Anonymous usage events (e.g., "fast started", "plan selected")
• Device type and operating system
• App version

5.2 Payments (RevenueCat)

If you purchase a premium subscription, the transaction is processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives:

• A unique anonymous user identifier
• Purchase and subscription status

We do not have access to your payment details (credit card numbers, etc.).

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share anonymous, aggregated data (e.g., "X% of users prefer 16:8 fasting") for research or marketing purposes, but this data cannot be used to identify you.

7. Data Retention

• Local Data: Stored until you delete the app or clear app data
• Analytics Data: Retained for up to 24 months in anonymized form
• Support Communications: Retained for up to 3 years to help with follow-up inquiries

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Your data is stored locally and you can view it anytime in the app
• Delete: You can delete your data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data
• Opt-Out: You can disable analytics in the app settings
• Portability: Contact us to request an export of your data

9. Children's Privacy

FastPulse is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Secure local storage using platform-provided encryption
• HTTPS for all network communications
• Regular security reviews of our code and infrastructure

11. International Users

FastPulse is available worldwide. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of anonymous analytics data to servers that may be located outside your country of residence.
